Exhibits, Classes and Other Events
Throughout the year, numerous classes, exhibits, and events take place across south-eastern Manitoba. As a result, a vibrant and thriving artistic community is growing in many communities.
As a member and supporter of the Steinbach Arts Council (SAC), I have the privilege of not only contributing to this community but also witnessing its growth firsthand.
My role as a part-time instructor allows me to not only share my passion for art, but also inspire others to discover their own creative potential.
Beyond the classroom, the spirit of artistic expression extends to various gatherings and venues. We have held events in local bars, coffee shops and have been hosted by church groups, and seniors/assisted living homes.
Paint-night/day-out events provide a unique opportunity for individuals to tap into their inner artist and connect with others who share their love for art.
With a flexible group size of 6 to 15 participants, there’s always room for more creative minds to join in the fun.
I am also a member of the South Eastern Artists (SEA). Each spring and fall we are delighted to participate in joint exhibits at the Clearspring Centre in Steinbach.
These showcases, along with other select exhibitions are organized by the group. They subsequently provide a platform for local artists to share their work and celebrate their achievements.
It is furthermore through these collaborative efforts that the artistic community in south-eastern Manitoba continues to flourish and inspire.
