This is 60!
One may think 60 years is a long time. Everything depends on perspective. Whether it is in painting composition or in life, perspective keeps us grounded and gives us direction. It can make things seem like it takes a lifetime or happens in a blink of an eye. So much or it depends on where you standing and your perception of what you see! I’ve come to the conclusion that life is like a toilet paper roll, the closer you get to the end the faster it seems to go.
Growing older is a journey rich with its own distinct joys and rewards. With each passing year, there’s a deepening sense of wisdom and perspective that comes from a lifetime of experiences, allowing us to appreciate life’s simple pleasures with renewed clarity. The pressure to achieve or prove oneself often fades, replaced by a liberating sense of freedom to savor the present moment. Old age offers the joy of watching loved ones grow and thrive, and the satisfaction of reflecting on a life well-lived, full of cherished memories and personal growth. There’s a unique pleasure in the slower pace of life, where the small, everyday moments become treasures to be relished, and the wisdom gained over the years becomes a gentle guide, enriching every experience.
