Yes, life as we know it keeps churning at an ever increasing fast forward.  There are few ways we can slow it down long enough to realize it is passing. One is to let our creativity flow and totally enjoy the process every bit as much as the finished product.  Whether you’re painting or drawing, gardening or creating a simple dinner. When you’re watching a tiny babe fall asleep in your arms. Or tying your children’s shoes or crafting/ painting or playing with them. If you’re pulling your hair out because of the last disagreement you’ve had over what color your teenager wants to dye her hair.  At one point I was planning not one but two of my children’s weddings in the same year.  Or if you are trying to decide the right course of care for your aging parents. If you find the world is spinning and swirling around you, take a deep breath, breath it all in and realize that this very moment will never again be in your grasp and savor the flavor/color/taste/mood ( no matter if it is pleasant or painful) of the precise moment you are in and then keep on keeping on…
