A paint party is a great starting point. Think of it as a way to reconnect with your soul. You might be surprised what you find there. Worst possible scenario is that you discover that painting is not your jam. I believe it was Thomas Edison who, when asked about his failures at creating a light bulb said, “I have not failed. I have just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.” (from AZQuotes.com) On a more positive note, you may also discover that painting is a creative outlet that you didn’t know you had.
