Whether you are new to the art scene or have been around for years, you know how passionate you can get about art. It is a passion fueled by the unknown and only truly understood by other artists. It can frustrate you beyond compare, at the same time as it brings you to new heights of joy and self expression. Therapy, I call it, and there are times it has literally saved my life. My latest favorite quote (and no I don’t remember who said it) is simply this: “Art does not have to match the sofa, let it match your soul.” So my friends, let the dishes sit! The house work will not run away, but your creativity may escape and elude you if you don’t capitalize on it when it strikes. Set your soul free whether it is on canvas or any other creative outlet. Be bold, spontaneous and awesome things will come from it!
